Today’s Bible study revolves around a quote from one of Wes’ recent sermons. He said, “The Gospel is as much about reconciling people with one another as it is reconciling people with God.” Travis asks Wes to explain and expound upon this idea.

What is more important, reconciliation with God or with people? Should we prioritize our “vertical” relationship with God or our “horizontal” relationships with others? Is one more important than the other or are they equally important? How does our relationship with God affect our relationships with others? And how do our relationships with others affect our relationship with God?

Some of the passages discussed in this Bible study:

  • Ephesians 2:11-22
  • Matthew 22:34-40
  • Matthew 5:21-26
  • 1 John 4:19-21
